Engine service & repair in Riyadh
Engine service & repair — carried out in our Riyadh workshop with marque-specific equipment

Engines in Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Porsche run inside tight margins: a set oil pressure, a stable operating temperature and valve timing that tolerates little drift. Faults rarely appear from nowhere — they start as a small leak, a faint noise or extra oil consumption, and grow if ignored. Our job is to catch the signal early and say precisely whether the fix is external or the engine genuinely needs opening.

Engines rarely fail without warning. Fixing a leak or a timing chain early is far cheaper than waiting for major damage, so we always start with an inspection that sizes up the problem.

01

Leaks and what really causes them

Most oil leaks on European engines come from the cam cover gasket, the filter housing, the oil cooler, a crank seal, or a blocked breather hose. The common mistake is cleaning the area and replacing the nearest gasket without finding the source. We clean, add a tracer dye, run the engine and identify the source under UV light before removing anything — replacing the wrong gasket means paying twice.

02

Chains, tensioners and metallic noises

A cold-start rattle on many engines points to a weak timing chain tensioner or a stretched chain. Ignoring it does not keep it a noise: one jumped tooth can cause serious internal damage. We measure cam angle deviation with the tester and compare it to the factory figure — a number that separates "normal noise" from "this chain needs replacing now" — and we show you that number before proposing work.

03

Oil consumption and exhaust smoke

Losing oil between services along with blue smoke usually points to valve stem seals, piston rings or the crankcase breather. We separate them with measured tests: compression, leak-down with pressurised air, and crankcase pressure. The result decides whether the work stays in the cylinder head or the engine needs a full overhaul — a big difference in cost and time that we explain with figures, not impressions.

When the engine starts warning you

Engines rarely stop without notice. These signs come early enough to fix things cheaply.

  • 01Oil spots under the car
  • 02Rattle on start-up
  • 03Exhaust smoke
  • 04Oil dropping between services

What the service includes

  • Oil and coolant leak rectification
  • Timing chain / belt replacement to spec
  • Compression testing and oil consumption analysis
  • Full rebuild with measurement and handover report

Requests we get for this service

If your case is close to one of these descriptions, send it as is on WhatsApp and we will understand it immediately.

  • Engine oil leak — pinpoint the source
  • Cold-start rattle from the engine
  • Unusual oil consumption between services
  • Engine overheating in Riyadh traffic
  • Timing chain replacement for a German car

Advice from the workshop floor

Practical notes learned from cars that came through the workshop, useful even if you never visit us.

  • 1Check the oil level every two weeks in summer; heat accelerates consumption.
  • 2Never keep driving after an oil pressure warning, not even a short distance.
  • 3A spec-correct oil matters far more than the most expensive oil on the shelf.

How an engine moves through the shop

  1. 01

    Vehicle intake

We record the symptoms, history and vehicle data.

  2. 02

    Inspection

We measure and test before suggesting parts.

  3. 03

    Report and approval

We explain the cause and work before starting.

  4. 04

    Work and documentation

A specialist carries out and documents the work.

  5. 05

    Handover test

Final checks and a road test where needed.

What reassures you before handing over your car

Clear written commitments from diagnosis to handover.

  • Warranty on completed work

The warranty scope is stated on the invoice; if the same symptom returns during it, the car is checked without a new diagnostic fee.

  • Nothing starts without approval

You receive the fault, parts and labour report before dismantling or replacement begins.

  • Your old parts are returned

Replaced parts remain available until collection and are shown to you clearly.

  • A written record of every visit

Inspection readings, work, date and mileage are recorded so the next visit is faster and more accurate.

Questions about engine repair

Does the engine always need opening?+

No. Many cases are solved externally; we only recommend an overhaul after compression testing confirms it.

Can a small oil leak wait?+

A small leak never fixes itself; with Riyadh heat it grows and contaminates belts and sensors. Early repair is far cheaper.

Do you use genuine parts?+

We show you the genuine option and the approved alternative with the difference between them; the choice is yours before we start.
