Brakes & safety systems in Riyadh
Brakes & safety systems — carried out in our Riyadh workshop with marque-specific equipment

Brakes on European cars are built for high performance, which makes them more sensitive to part quality and fitting method. The gap between a confident stop and a hesitant one can be a disc running out by fractions of a millimetre, or fluid that absorbed moisture. We treat this system by measurement: disc thickness, run-out, fluid condition and electronic module behaviour.

Brakes are not a job to postpone. We measure disc and pad thickness and test the fluid, then tell you what must be replaced now and what can safely wait.

01

What we measure before recommending replacement

We measure disc thickness against the minimum stamped on it, check lateral run-out with a dial gauge, assess remaining pad material at each wheel and verify caliper and slide pin movement. Many "vibration under braking" cases come from disc run-out or uneven corrosion rather than total wear. Measurement decides whether the answer is cleaning and lubrication or genuine replacement.

02

Brake fluid and Riyadh heat

Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air over time, and the more moisture it holds the lower its boiling point. In Riyadh heat with repeated braking, vapour can form in the circuit and the pedal feels soft or long. We measure moisture content with a tester, flush under pressure and bleed each caliper in the correct order, then verify pedal feel before handover.

03

Electronic safety systems

ABS, ESP, the electronic parking brake and driver assistance all rely on wheel speed, steering angle and yaw sensor data. One faulty sensor can disable several systems at once. We read live values while driving, recalibrate sensors after any suspension or steering work, and use the proper electronic retract procedure on rear calipers instead of forcing them as general workshops often do.

When brakes cannot wait

Brakes are a safety matter first; any change in noise or stopping distance needs a check now.

  • 01Squeal when braking
  • 02Steering vibration when stopping
  • 03Longer stopping distance
  • 04ABS light on

What the service includes

  • Spec pads and discs replacement
  • Caliper service and brake fluid change
  • ABS / ESP systems and sensor checks
  • Wheel alignment after service

Requests we get for this service

If your case is close to one of these descriptions, send it as is on WhatsApp and we will understand it immediately.

  • Steering vibration under braking
  • Squeal or metallic noise from the brakes
  • Discs and pads to marque specification
  • Soft or low brake pedal
  • ABS or electronic parking brake warning

Advice from the workshop floor

Practical notes learned from cars that came through the workshop, useful even if you never visit us.

  • 1Change brake fluid roughly every two years even if you feel no difference.
  • 2A constant metallic noise usually means pad-to-metal contact; do not delay.
  • 3After new pads, brake gently for the first distance so the surfaces bed in.

How we inspect and do brake work

  1. 01

    Vehicle intake

We record the symptoms, history and vehicle data.

  2. 02

    Inspection

We measure and test before suggesting parts.

  3. 03

    Report and approval

We explain the cause and work before starting.

  4. 04

    Work and documentation

A specialist carries out and documents the work.

  5. 05

    Handover test

Final checks and a road test where needed.

What reassures you before handing over your car

Clear written commitments from diagnosis to handover.

  • Warranty on completed work

The warranty scope is stated on the invoice; if the same symptom returns during it, the car is checked without a new diagnostic fee.

  • Nothing starts without approval

You receive the fault, parts and labour report before dismantling or replacement begins.

  • Your old parts are returned

Replaced parts remain available until collection and are shown to you clearly.

  • A written record of every visit

Inspection readings, work, date and mileage are recorded so the next visit is faster and more accurate.

Brake and safety questions

Do discs need changing with the pads?+

Not always. We measure thickness and run-out first and replace only if out of spec.

Does vibration when braking mean new discs?+

Not always. We measure disc run-out and thickness first; some cases are machined, others genuinely need replacement.

When should brake fluid be changed?+

Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time and fades under heat; we measure its moisture content during periodic service.
