How often should you change oil in Riyadh's heat?
European schedules assume a mild climate. Here's what we actually recommend in Saudi Arabia.

Most German manufacturers set oil change intervals between 15,000 and 25,000 km, but those figures assume European conditions: moderate temperatures, low-sulphur fuel and long steady-speed journeys.
Riyadh changes the equation: summer temperatures above 45°C, airborne dust and short urban trips that never let the engine reach ideal operating temperature. These conditions accelerate oil oxidation and viscosity loss.
Our practical recommendation: 10,000 km on a high-quality full synthetic, or 7,500 km if most of your driving is urban or heavily loaded. More important than the number is using oil that matches the factory specification exactly — not just a similar viscosity.
Always watch oil colour and level between services. Any unusual drop deserves an immediate check for leaks or internal consumption.
Any abnormal symptom deserves an early inspection; early diagnosis is usually clearer and less costly than waiting. Send the symptom and vehicle details and we will suggest the right inspection step.
